| Rules | Following are the rules which should be followed when writing and submitting a story. Please read these and the following Story Basics Page before submitting a story. |

With exception to the
names of magic spells, summon spells and some items, NOTHING may be derived
from any of the Final Fantasy games or any other game. This is all
about originality. Character names should be unique as should the
names of cities and Provinces.
SPECIAL CASE: Some weapons / names, such as Masamune / Murasame, Excalibur, Ragnarok, etc. will be allowed to be in the fan fic because of their universal base in Final Fantasy and the real world mythology and legends. So, to this extent, the rules have been modified to the following: "Weapons may be used from any of the FF games, as long as they do not SPECIFICALLY make references to any characters from any of the FF games." |

Some profanity is ok, because we are trying to reflect a "real world" environment. However, try to keep it at a minimum as there are no age restrictions here. |

When you create a new
character or province, please take the time to come up with a short profile
of the character or province. This "profile" will be posted to it's respective
area on the web site. This helps other writers understand your character
and the province you may have created, and allows other writers to portray
your character in the way you have "imagined".

When sending us your story, please make sure it is in ASCII text format. This is because it makes it easier to meld the stories together to create the "linear" story effect. |
